Yes, I talked to her yesterday and she sounds really good.  She's only been home a few days (Monday, I think) and really sounds amazingly strong.

I know she has also spoken to MaryMomof3 and Joe, so maybe they can chime in too.

Glad she's "on the other side!"

I got a PM from her the other day...I think her facial nerve was a little more "stressed" (my word not hers) than she had anticipated...I plan to call her today -- I'll try to let you know more later!

I just spoke to her - sorry I didn't see the well wishes until now, but I bet she will see them on here herself and it will warm her soul, like when I saw the stuff about me!  She is doing well and sounds good (of course, I had never HEARD her voice before, but I still think she sounds good!  LOL).  We had a nice chat!!

It's me, it's me..I made it!  I am "one the otherside".  Everything went well, a little more facial nerve involvement that we anticpated but hopefully all temporary.  One eye is still very fuzzy but I'm coming along.  Thanks for everyone's thoughts and prayers.  I know this helped get me through.  I was touched to see my name on the calendar, personal blogs and so many posts.  The support has been amazing. the phone calls bring sunshine everyday.  I'm sure this has opened the door to many new questions for me.
Thanks again for the well wishes and thoughts
hugs
Hope

Hi Hope
Welcome to the "otherside".  It's good to see your post and it's good to know that everything went well.  If you have any questions or concerns on the facial nerve thing, I'd be glad to give you my personal input.  Take care and get some rest and have a great recovery!

My best

Hope,

Welcome back:-)  You have gone from newbie to postie.  It sounds like your recovery is going well after your "boogerectomy".
