30 days post-op
« on: December 25, 2008, 01:10:33 am »
Greetings to all. My surgery was Nov 20th and I am doing super. My balance nerve was cut 4 years ago, So my Dr gave me OK to drive at 10 days after discharge. I am doing most all I need but am careful with heavy lifting. My symptoms remain the same. lower right jaw and right side of toungue  are numb. I get a few good headaches but nothing alarming. I am a very happy guy. I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and want you to know my wife and I pray for all of you,,,,,Larry

Larry:

Merry Christmas - and thank you for the splendid, positive update.  I'm pleased to learn that you're doing so well and seem to be handling any deficits in stride, as it were.  I pray your good recovery will continue and soon any lingering problems will be a thing of the past.  :)

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

Hi Larry,

Glad to hear you are a happy guy. Have a Happy New Year!

I do hope to meet you one day at a Portland ANA meeting. Even if you don't get something out of it yourself, you can contribute something that will help others. The word is that I am supposed to do one in the spring sometime, all about using this forum and the "internets" in general. ;)

Right side is weak too. Life is quiet.

Hi Larry,
I missed this thread before Christmas and have only been on sporadically since then.  I'm glad to hear things are going well and wish you and yours a Happy and Healthy New Year!
