Translab Jan. 16
« on: January 15, 2009, 09:10:45 am »
Surgery tomorrow w/Dr. Kartusch (Michigan Ear Institue) in Southfield Michigan. I have a "small" AN in my right ear, hoping for no long term facial issues, normal eye closure, and to be back on skis by the mid of February.

Wish me luck!

Best of luck. I'm scheduled for my surgery on Jan 27 so I know just how you feel. I just want to get past the operation and wake up in the recovery room.

Cheers,

Neal

Neal:

Many thoughts and prayers will be with you on Friday (1/16).  I wish you a smooth, successful surgery and a rapid, complication-free recovery.  :)  Stay strong!

Jim
4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

Best of luck on your surgery tomorrow!

Please check in and let us know how you're doing when you're up to it. (I found that post-op, the forum is a great place to spend time when you feel good enough for typing, but are not quite ready for the slopes. :))

Sending good vibes your way,

Nancy L

P.S. Neal - Those same good thoughts will be going out to you on January 27th. :)

bleavitt -

best of luck tomorrow.  You're in great hands.  Michigan Ear is supposedly #2 in AN surgeries, right up there behind House.

I'm confident things will turn out well for you and you'll be hitting the slopes in no time.

Don't forget to report back to us when you're officially a postie  ;D

Neal -

good luck to you on the 27th!
