4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

Hiu Dusty,

I'm glad to hear you made your treatment choice, but sorry it is necessary.  It is one of the hardest choices you will ever make, in my opinion.  I wish you much success and luck and a wonderful surgical outcome.  I look forward to welcoming you to Postieland and following your progress.

Sending positive vibes your way,
Wendy

Hello fellow Floridian.. I had my surgeries up here in Jacksonville, FL at Baptist hospital. There will be a ANA support meeting March 28, 2009 here in Mandarin.. Maybe when you are feeling better (after post op) you can swing up this way and share with us your experience in gatorland... Keep us updated on your progress... Take Care...

Hello JohnnyDiaz.  I would love to head your way when I get feeling better.  My oldest daughter lived north of Jacksonville in St Mary's Georgia for a couple years and we made several trips to Jacksonville area.  Thanks for the note and I will provide updates after preop on 3/2-3/3.  My surgery is still on schedule for 3/16/09.
