Thanks everyone.  I was thinking of everyone here as I ran.  It kept me going.
Kay, that's great that you were able to run without holding on.  Even if your knee hurts, it must feel good to know you could do it.

Hi Jeanlea,
Good for you!! I just did a half marathon last weekend as well. It sounded like you started running after your AN... that's even more commendable in my opinion. I think running helps me with my balance issues (both pre and post op).
I'm glad you improved your time too - that's great!
Where was your half marathon? Any more in the future plans? I try to sign up for any Saturday local ones I can find because it keeps me running (I'm not always so motivated otherwise).
Again, congratulations!
Keri

As I see it, Jean, you have actually run a full marathon, only with a very sensible one year rest period at the halfway mark.  ;D

Congratulations on your repeat performance - and on shaving off two minutes.

Steve,

I like your thinking.  A full marathon-just with a year break.  lol

Keri,

Good for you on your half-marathon.  I ran in the Indy Mini in Indianapolis.  Nice and flat.  I'm probably going to run a 5K Memorial Day weekend.  My friends and I are participating in a 50 mile relay in early June.  There are four of us on the team.  Too bad you aren't closer.  We could have an AN running team.  :-)

An AN relay team sounds like a great idea!! It would take quite a team to cover Indy to Silver Spring, MD! Add the bikers (Patrick, Seal) and the triathletes - well, they can do all the hard work)!

Good luck on your Memorial Day run and the June relay. That sounds like fun.
