I think that there is a forum rule...if your 3 year post MRI is clean as a whistle..you have to whistle us a tune.. I'm partial to the Star Spangled Banner, want a cracker first?

Congratulations...

Ixta:

Congratulations on a 'clean' MRI scan.  May all your future MRI scans be just as 'clean' .  :)

Jim
4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

Congrats to you on the MRI!
And while the rest of us just struggle to get pictures on this thing, you post really cool pictures that move around!

How's the marathon / triathlon training going? Got any races soon?

How on Earth did you animate your MRI like that? Wow. "This is your brain. This is your brain on drugs..."  ;D

Madison, SBI is Skull Base Institute. Dr. Shahinian is the neurosurgeon there who does endoscopic surgery to remove ANs. There are a few current threads on this forum about SBI and the endoscopic approach. Poke around a little, using the Search function, and you should come up with some interesting reading.

Best wishes,
