My MIL called me yesterday to alert me to a story that GMA did - here is the link

http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/story?id=8072015&page=1

I know that she is DEFINITELY in my prayers - all the BEST to her - I can't even imagine having to deal with this as a child!

Interesting story, Kay.  Thanks for sharing it.

If you remember to look for updates at some point, please post those too - since I'm sure I'll forget to look on GMA's website.

God bless Kiana and her foster mom; they've both been through a lot of emotional pain.

I pray the surgery is successful.

I don't actually "make" trouble..just kind of attract it, fine tune it, and apply it in new and exciting ways

I have also read about babies born with bilateral facial paralysis, which I thought this would be until I viewed it. It's called Moebius Syndrome (http://www.moebiussyndrome.com/) and the babies are unable to smile, blink or even suck.

I am thankful that Kiana was blessed with such a supportive mom. I pray that her surgery is successful and she will be even more beautiful than she already is.
