Hi there  S.

I searched Hopkins' website for Dr. Carey, but could not find(*).  Dr. Tamargo's info is here:

http://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/neurology_neurosurgery/experts/team_member_profile/315785966091A5152C834D001FBADF5E/Rafael_Tamargo

He's part of the team that includes Henry Brem, my neurosurgeon, a great guy!  If Carey is with this team, don't think you can go wrong.  But you might want to ask team nurse Eilene Bohan (410-955-4846) about Carey.  She and I discuss MRI follow-up results each year.  She's very pleasant and informative.

BTW, guess you can always get 2nd opinion with other JHH docs (e.g. Dr Brem).
Good luck!

Greg

(*) DId find info on John Carey:  http://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/otolaryngology/our_team/faculty/carey.html
