here is the dear Captn's painting that I own that hangs proudly in my living room.....

The captn will tell you that I had her on the phone when it arrived and all she heard was screams of being so overwhelmed and touched.......and tears of joy.  I was truly floored that I received this...

I am truly honoured to own this.......

I second that -- our Capt. Deb is obviously very talented.

This 'AN Community' has many members with a diverse array of talents and skills.  Deb is certainly one of those, as her artwork shows.  Although I wouldn't want anyone to have to deal with an acoustic neuroma and the problems it sometimes brings, as a part of this community, I appreciate her artistry, her sense of whimsy and her fortitude in the face of sometimes daunting obstacles in her life. A salute to the Captain!  :)

Jim
4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

sheesh Jim... now we gonna need a hat pin to pop her ego so she'll be able to fit through a doorway!  ;)
