Wish me LUCK! ... I survived!!
« on: July 08, 2009, 05:57:10 am »
This time tomorrow, I'll be pretty close - if not entirely - zonked out, awaiting my fate.

Thanks to sweetie pies Jan and Lilan for reaching out to me. As I mentioned to Jan, I will not have anyone posting during the hosp stay, but I will definitely be back online as soon as I'm back home.

Thanks for all your wonderful information and support these last few months. You've been told this before, but bears repeating ... you're ALL the absolute BEST!!

Jeepers ~

Many of us can remember the combination of fear and excitement that seems to be intrinsic as The Big Day draws close.  You'll be in many thoughts and prayers tonight and tomorrow.  May you have a smooth surgery and a rapid recovery!  :)  See you back here as soon as you're able.

Jim
4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

Jeep -

Wow!  I've been called a lot of things in my life, but never a sweetpie   ;) :D  Thanks  ;D

You're probably already asleep in anticipation of your hot date tomorrow morning, but wanted to say good luck again.

If you happen to have insomnia and check out the forum, you'll see this message pre op - if not, you can read it post op.

Looking forward to hearing from you as a postie!  You're in great hands.

Best,

Jan

Hi Jeepers,
You're probably all done now? Welcome to postie land. We look forward to hearing from you when you're able.
I hope and pray all is well, as much as it can be right at first. It's amazing how time flies. The people I thought were new posties are already  3 or 4 weeks now post op.
Take care,
Keri

Jeep -

been thinking about you and hoping things went well.  I'm thinking that by now you may be released from the hospital - or at least on your way towards it.

Anxious to see you back posting.

Best,

Jan
