Post GK 4 month update.....
« on: September 18, 2009, 07:31:49 am »
Hi everyone, I haven't been around in a while because I decided that I was going to put this AN things
on the back burner for a bit and enjoy my summer, which I did!

I just wanted to give an update.

I had GK at the beginning of May and it went very well for me.

All symptoms have stayed the same since prior GK, which I didnt have too much of anyway.

Now Im having a cold and my ear feels more full and like echo ish, but Im assuming this might be normal
with congestion and cold symptoms/

So far so good.

My follow up MRI is in November and I will come back to let you all know what the results are.

Take care, God Bless !

Good news on your GK experience so far, T. I was very sensitive to colds the first six months, and still am a little. Seems like a normal thing. Here's to a good MRI result.

Right side is weak too. Life is quiet.

Welcome back, Tatianne!

Thanks for the positive update on your GK treatment.  I'm so pleased to learn how well things are going for you and that you had a fun summer!  Fingers crossed for a great follow-up MRI in November.  I'm sure you'll have more good news, then!

Jim
4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

Best wishes fellow "zapper" !!   If the fullness in your ear really bothers you...you can try visiting your doc for some steriods.

Hi Tatianne,

I have been wondering how your treatment is going. Good to hear from you and glad that you are doing o.k. Cold symptoms do make symtpoms worse.
