This Week 9/20 in the AN World
« on: September 19, 2009, 07:53:44 pm »
I’m posting the weekly a little early this week because Scarlett and I will be attending the NASCAR race in Loudon, N.H. tomorrow.

Monday, Thursday, and Saturday are open days on the AN Calendar.

We start this week off by celebrating with Brian (Pooter) on Sunday, who is not yet 40 ;) HAPPY BIRTHDAY Brian ;D

Wednesday Cheryl (another NY newbie) is having her middle fossa surgery, and Laurie (laurief) is having her translab surgery.

Sam, Jo, Cheryl, and Laurie we will keep all of you in our thoughts prayers for totally successful and uncomplicated surgeries, and for speedy recoveries in the days ahead.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Jan (leapyrtwins), one of our acclaimed Hero Members, as she celebrates her birthday on Friday.

As always, we wish all that have had their surgeries speedy recoveries.

Rich ~

Thanks for the update - and enjoy the race!

My prayers and those of many others, I know, go out to this week's surgery patients: Sam, Jo, Cheryl, and LaurieHappy Birthday to Jan (she of the 6,000 posts) and Brian, both, valued forumites.  May their respective birthdays be thoroughly enjoyable.

Jim
4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

Wow!  A very full week indeed.  One BAHA surgery, two birthdays, and three AN surgeries  :o

Best wishes for speedy, uneventful recoveries to Sam, Jo, Cheryl, and Laurie - will any of you have scribes?

And a VERY happy birthday to Pooter.  Pooter, here's a cool thing I discovered a few years ago.  If you listed your birthdate in your profile when you registered on the Forum, you are able to view a slice of cake with a candle in it on your birthday (unless they've changed that recently).

Hope you and Scarlett have fun at the races, Rich.

Jan (who is not yet 50 - but is definitely older than 40)  ::)
Retrosig 5/31/07 Drs. Battista & Kazan (Hinsdale, Illinois)

I don't actually "make" trouble..just kind of attract it, fine tune it, and apply it in new and exciting ways

Happy Birthday, Brian!! (sorry, a little late)
Happy Birthday, Jan!
I hope you both have wonderful weeks!

We have a variety of surgeries - I wish you all well and will be praying for you, Cheryl, Sam and Laurie. I hope that after the initial yucky days, you have smooth recoveries. Please keep us posted.

Jo - I hope your BAHA surgery, step 1 goes well. I'll be interested in the details. I want one too; am tired of SSD!
