First MRI Since Surgery

Again, my thanks for the words of support...gosh, I'm really disappointed nothing is going quite as I hoped and had been told is "mostly" the case...darn it all.  From the miserable experience of my first week after surgery to that awful weight implant debacle, and now a rush to get me back into such intensive treatment...I'm fed up by it all already. I need a break and was really looking forward to having three or so more months to start feeling better, more normal again at least before the CK would begin.  I haven't done a whole lot of reading on the subject yet, but can only imagine its got its own set of side effects that remind you, you've been irradiated.

Maybe you can get it done before the end of the year and at least take advantage of having already met your insurance deductible?

Don't have any insurance deductibles...I have an EPO, all I pay are small $35.00 Office Visit CoPays...specialists are a little higher and an ER visit is a $150.00 CoPay...never go there unless near death.  My total share of the 142K the insurance company was billed for the three weeks hospital stay, AN Surgery, Rehab et all, was only $250.00...my insurance company calls that a confinement fee.  I didn't pay a single penny for the failed weight implant surgery either...just office visit copays.  I did buy my own External Weights out of pocket because the Eye Doctor and his staff couldn't find the handles on that one...easier to do it myself than wait on them to figure it out.

That's a good thought though for folks battling high deductibles!

Hey, Dennis...well, so sorry you didn't get the news you had hoped for today.  Know you're quite tired of this whole ordeal, as you should be.  On the bright side, and we must find one , the CK treatments will be a walk in the park compared to surgery.  Yes, there may be a couple of unwanted side effects down the road, but nothing you won't be able to handle, I'm sure.  You have, by far, got the worst of it behind you!

It's beautiful down here in GA right now - hope you can go out and enjoy it some over the weekend!
