Although in the land down under, we have completely different IR laws, I would be surprised that, as Gary pointed out, you aren't covered by some legislation somewhere.

Firstly, I would go to your HR Manager and ask them what the office rules are re equal opportunity and office discrimination. Failing anything positive there, and you'd have to be careful coz the HR manager is likely to "secretly" say something to your manager, you could always see a lawyer who specialises in that field and get their opinion so at least you have your options covered. Actually, you could check on the internet re your state and/or federal laws regarding office discrimination.
