Merry Christmas
« on: December 14, 2009, 01:47:59 pm »
To my AN family.  I'm not sure what I would have done without many of you over the last 19 months.  I had so many ups and downs during recovery, and you all helped me get through it.  I still distinctly remember being at home during recovery and having my laptop nearby me so that I could login and stay connected to the outside world (my AN family).  Some of you have seen the deepest of lows and you all rooted me on during the highs.

I'm truthfully thankful to each of you and that I've had the opportunity to get to know each of you.  There are too many of you to name personally.  But, you know who you are especially those of you have received PM's from me at 3:00am, or offered me personal and/or private advice, or have generally been there cheering me on.

So, with that said, Merry Christmas from me and all of my family..

(Picture taken just a few weeks ago.. Notice, I still have my crooked smile, but it's endearing most of the time.)

Regards,

Brian

The best holiday wishes back at ya Pooter.  I have found your posts so positive that they helped me even when the post had nothing to do with my AN experience.

And many happy more,

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.
