ANA Symposium 2011
« on: January 14, 2010, 07:45:16 am »
Just noticed on the main page that the dates of the 2011 ANA Symposium have been released.

It's scheduled for June 17 - 19, 2011 in Cincinnati, OH and I'm guessing the host will be Dr. Tew or Dr. Pensak.  I took the liberty of putting it on the AN Calendar.

Last year's symposium in Chicago was a great experience; a wonderful, informative time was had by all and lots of forumites attended.

So start making plans for 2011 - definitely something to look forward to.  Hope to see you all there!  ;D

Jan

Retrosig 5/31/07 Drs. Battista & Kazan (Hinsdale, Illinois)

I don't actually "make" trouble..just kind of attract it, fine tune it, and apply it in new and exciting ways

I don't even know what I'm making for dinner tonight and you're already planning 2011???   AAAHHHHHHHGGGG!!!!

Ohio, huh?  Well, never been there, so I suppose there's no time like 2011 to go!

You know, time goes by very fast.

It seems like just yesterday I was sitting on my front porch with a 6-month child perched on each knee feeling sad because my babies were growing up SO fast  :(

Flash forward to last week when registration forms and orientation information from the local high school started arriving in my mailbox  :o

June 2011 will be here before we know it.

Oh yeah, I'll be there!  Ohio is my home state and I haven't been there in 20 years.  I think this time we should insist on a DJ or a dance band at the Gala like they had in Philly.  I didn't dance cuz I had a splitting headache, but you know I would have! Nuthin like a gang of wonkyheads in heels on a dance floor!!!

Yeah Deb!  ;D  Glad to see someone's with me - hope you bring your pirate gear again!

Since you are from Ohio, do you know how far Kings Island (Home of the Beast) is from Cincinnati?

My ex and I took the kids there about 7 years ago and they loved it.  I can't recall what city it's in though.

If it's close enough to Cinci those who want to bring their families (are you reading this Pooter?) could turn the trip into a vacation.

I was also thrilled to see that the symposium will once again be at a Hilton Hotel.  Hilton is the only hotel chain I have a membership with and now I can rack up some more points!

I have a good friend in Cincinnati. She took me to a great local restaurant in her neighborhood last time I visited. If it is still there in 2011 it would be a fabulous place for a forumite get-together. I'll have to ask her for the name.

I do remember there is a nice zoo there as well. There would be plenty to do on a family vacation.

The symposium was in downtown Philly in 2007.      Many forumites but more this last time in Chicago.
It does get all over the country so my vacations for the last few years have been done the AN way. LOL!

The hotel rate is at least cheaper this time and the rooms look very nice.     The parking fee is lower too!      Yeah!

Who you bring Pooter is entirely up to you  ;)  However, I want to see you this time around!

Cheri R -

I didn't see hotel rates when I noticed the dates; I'll have to back go back and look.
