I'm a little over 2 months post-op, and I think my balance is pretty good.  I haven't really been doing any kind of vestibular exercises (even Wii-Fit) since I went back to school because I really haven't had time.  I think this summer I might try to go back to the Wii-Fit and see if I can get back to 100% normal...or close to it.

I feel pretty balanced most days, although I did try to take it too far this morning by attempting to put on a shoe while balancing on the other foot.  Apparently I'm not that steady yet!  I'm lucky I didn't break my neck.   :D

Thanks for the great comments and suggestions.

I have been going to vestibular rehab for a couple of months, with a break in between after I fell and tore ligaments in my ankle. Now I am going for both the ankle and the vestibular therapy. I love my therapist, she constantly gives me more to do, keeps me aware of what I can do better, and reinforces the exercises I do at home. For me it works, plus my insurance covers it!
