Soundy ~

Congratulations on your rock-climbing accomplishment and thanks for sharing your adventure with us.  Its both inspirational and encouraging for those of us who like challenges and want to maintain a 'normal' lifestyle, even as we age.  Yes, the recuperation was tough but the confidence you gained was worth it, I'm sure.  Well done.   :)

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

So glad it went off well

Have not been doing much in way of walking in a while... been real wobbly for past few months.... waiting for July 2 and the end of my " pre- existing" status... it's been a long 7 year wait to get that lifted

Looking into a eliptical/reclining bike to get some exercise in ...

How is everyone doing? How’s life treating you all? Where have you spent your time lately? I’ve been really into traveling, and right now, I’m checking out orbitz reviews to see what deals they have. I’m planning to call them tomorrow and see if they have any good offers for upcoming trips. There are so many amazing places I still want to explore, and I’m hoping to find something for a great price.

Hi Steve,  Thanks for bringing back wonderful memories.  I had forgotten all about this topic and how popular it was.  I read a few of the posts and smiled as I read the names of so many people I use to see on this board.

Now that I'm retired I walk our dog for an hour everyday and ride my bike about half an hour.  We live at the lake now so we have lots of beautiful trails to walk on with lots of deer, turkey, quail and of course a view of the lake.
