A MIRACLE!!!!
« on: January 21, 2010, 04:56:36 pm »
Hello my AN friends,

Well those of you that read my post last week know that I've been feeling horrible since my surgery 4/14/09.  I could not say since that time had I had a day that I felt "good".  Well a miracle has happened and i am sooooooooo excited!  The day after I posted,  I actually felt good for the first time in 9 months!  I was apprehensive as to whether this was going to continue or not....but it's been a week and I feel the best I have since my surgery!  I'm so excited!!!  What has improved for me is that I have noticed a boost in my energy level.  It's not back to what it was of course but what a difference!  I saw my neurologist in late December and he told me it would be AT LEAST 6 months before i would notice a change in my energy level.  So all of those of you who have been and are praying for me.....Thank you!!!!  Now we just have to work on the numbness going away.  But for now I'm thrilled w/ the improvement of my energy.  Thank you all for your kind words and encouragement.  I'd be lost w/out this forum.

Your AN friend,

Laura Lynn Magin

Miracles do happen and of course, prayers are answered.  Congratulations!  Your news made my day!  :)

Yay! See?? It just  does take time. You will soon get to a point where the "good days" start to outweigh the "bad days" and then the "bad days" are the exception not the norm. You are on your way Laura Lynn! This news made my day as well.

Laura,

I'm so happy to hear you had a good week!  I hope it continues!

I think maybe it was a combination of the numerous prayers said for you and maybe you just needed to vent a little to people who know exactly how you feel.  Whatever did the trick, I'm glad it did.

It's sure been a long road for you, but sounds like some of the potholes are filling in nicely!

LauraLynn,

Great news! I'm glad to hear that you've turned that corner and are starting to truly feel better.  I hope things continue to improve more quickly but don't forget to listen to your body and take care of yourself.  The healing process requires PATIENCE!  Recovery from this surgery is truly a lesson in patience.

Best wishes,
Wendy
