Gamma Knife Date
« on: March 12, 2010, 10:48:48 am »
Well I have finally got a date for my Gamma Knife treatment - Monday 29th March!  Mixed feelings I guess - part of me is pleased to have a date and get something done about the tumour, another part of me is like thinking oh my goodness!!!  At least once its done I will have the Easter break to rest and enjoy some pampering!!

I'm glad you have a plan and a date!  I'm going crazy today, because they're supposed to call me back at any minute to give me my cyberknife dates.  Hard not knowing.

Mark ~

Congratulations on obtaining a date for your GammaKnife treatment!  I'm sure it'll work out well for you, as it has for so many others.

I've taken the liberty of adding your GK date to our AN Treatment Calendar:  http://my.calendars.net/an_treatments/d29/03/2010?authenticate=&display=M&style=B  Feel free to embellish.

Jim
4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

Hey Mark

Congrats on finishing the decision-making process! Well done! Where are you going to have the GK done?  Ya know, when I had my radiation (CK), it was Easter Week as well... and boy, did I overload on the sugar after my CK... and you can enjoy as well!

Again, congrats!
