Can't believe it will be a yr tomorrow..time did go by fast...
I can say I am 99% back to normal with a few deficiencies..
SSD being one and it can be frustrating at tmes..Looking forward to having my own BP100 on Monday
My balance slips up every now and then, but not a biggie...I just tend to stumble a little or at times there seems to be this invisible force pulling me to the right..AN left.
I try to exercise my balance daily...I dont pass the chance of walking on a fallen log, or walking in a darkened room.
I still have some facial numbness on left side...NO tinnitus, yippeeee, no soreness at either surgical sites (translab and baha)
I do have at times actually alot of time but not daily that awful metallic/copper taste in my mouth and bad breath.
there seems to be a few holes in my memory that I like to blame on the AN but could be from old age...lol....
I still tire easily and have cut my work hours from 8 a day to 5-6 a day...it isnt so much as tiring easily but just needing more sleep hours. My job is not physical draining but mentally draining.
There is residual tumor left which is stable at the moment...AT the first signs of growth, the plan is to zap the critter. And now that ck will be in Ottawa, Ontario shortly, it will be my choice of radiation.
so all in all, life is back to normal if one can define normal and life is good.
