Congratulations to the entire family!  He's gorgeous!!!!!!

Best wishes to Kris, she's got a lot of people sending her prayers and positive thoughts from all over.  She's in great hands, and we look forward to hearing how well her surgery went and that she's making a very speedy recovery!!!!!

Belated congratulations to Kris on the birth of Parker Kristian!  A beautiful baby boy.  All together now: awwwwwwwwwwwww.  :)

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

Don't I wish that she could spend some more time enjoying him before this next surgery, but the fact of it is the House team would have liked to move on it right when they found it, but she has now waited 3 months so Parker could thrive. She certainly deserves to just enjoy our new bundle of joy, but he balance/dizziness has come to a head and is getting in the way of her being fully functional...and obviously she wants to be just right to be able to take care of her new little guy. Of course we're scared for what is coming, but know what needs to be done.

what a cutie ...

Thoughts with his mom as she continues on her AN journey ... wishing for a speedy uncomplicated surgery so she can get busy taking care of him

I have had 3 surgeries after births ... had gall bladder removed and insides put back in place when my twins were 2 month old ...ended up in hospital 14 days with life threatening complications ...had  kidney surgery when my now 12 year old was 3 month old to repair damage from an accident and then carpel tunnel surgery when my youngest was 4 months old ... none were as big as my AN surgery but the baby or in case of the twins babies waiting at home gave me something to get better for ... and with AN surgery my girls who were 9 and 7 at time of the surgery were a big part in my early recovery even though not babies ...

I have a feeling that little baby will be a big part of her getting better

Oh my goodness, what a rollercoaster you've been on Soundy!  I'm glad to hear you came out the other side OK, and with what sounds like a wonderful family to share life with.  I am certian that little Parker will be an inspiration. Thanks for the nice note.

Babies are inspiring ... you will be amazed at what a Mom can accomplish when it involves her child and being with him

will say that those incidents were spread over alot of years ... my twins will be 30 in July ...

continued good healing to mom and speedy recovery so she can get down to the business of raising Parker
