This Week 8/22/10 in the AN Calendar World
« on: August 23, 2010, 06:18:12 pm »
Congratulations (wasky) as our new Postie.  We’re glad to learn that your 7/30 retrosigmoid surgery was a complete success.  We trust the facial paralysis is temporary, and that your blood pressure will soon return to normal.  We hope you have a quick recovery.

LAST WEEK:

Jan (leapyrtwins) we are very happy everything went smoothly with the 8/17 removal of that pesky screw.  Thank you for posting the picture of it.

Congratulations Mickey (Mickey) on the results of your 8/17 MRI, and that “everything is stable with no change”.  Good thoughts your way for continued W&W.

THIS WEEK:

Sunday 8/22 Rich (Rich56), yup that’s me, turned 54.  As they say, time flies when your have’n fun.

Tuesday 8/24 Capt. Deb (Captain Deb) will have surgery to remove her thyroid nodule.  Capt. Deb you will certainly be in our thoughts and prayers that it is indeed an out-patient event, and without any complications.

Also on Tuesday 8/24 Tod (Tod) has an appointment with his ENT.  Tod we know you’ve been through a lot, and truly hope your ENT has good news to share with you.

Wednesday 8/25 JO (tenai98) turns 51.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Thursday 8/26 Patrick (texsooner) has an appointment with his neurologist.  Patrick we hope everything goes well at your appointment.

Also on Thursday 8/26 Kathleen Mary (KathleenMary) has an appointment with her radiologist.  We hope your appointment is productive, that all your questions are answered, and that you leave have a plan for your 8/31 GK treatment.

Saturday 8/28 Lois celebrates 2 yrs since her retrosigmoid surgery.  Congratulations!!

We continue to hope that each day gets a little better for all that are recovering.

Have a great week,

Rich & Scarlett

Capt Deb update!

Spoke to her yesterday.  She sounds good.  They were late getting her into the OR due to another patient's issues, but they finally got her in, did what they had to do and immediately booted her out to go home.  She's sounds a little "husky" (if I were a guy, I'd say rather sexy!) but overall, she's on the mend and doing fine.

Will speak to her later to check on her again unless she is quick to sailing the PBW back here before I check back.

Spoke to her again yesterday... her throat sounds a bit better (not as husky) and I gave her a virtual dope slap for over-doing things.  Surgery Tuesday, pushed too hard on Wed, paid the price on Thursday.  I restricted her to sick bay (ie: the sofa) and rest, rest, rest.  She does have a laptop and may be lurking a little or she may just surprise everyone and show up.  BTW, her "gash" is 3" and the the pirate sword that did that to her must now have magical healing powers since it drew blood from our fearless Capt!  :)
