Kathy, I forgot you were the Ickyhead Queen!

Great news folks! Pathologist report found NO CANCER in the rest of my thyroid or the 17 lymph nodes they removed (I didn't even know people HAD that many lymph nodes.)  I probably could have kept my thyroid and closely monitored it, but given my family history of bad luck with cancer, my doc and I decided to go the aggressive route.  I lost my Dad in 3 years to stage 1 bladder cancer that had a fairly high cure rate.  Not taking any chances, so Yaaaaaaayyyy!
Still suffering from lots of fatigue and headaches as my Botox is wearing off--get another round Tuesday.

Thanks for all your support--got a kick out of all the bullfrog silliness.

Hugs,

Capt (ribbick!)Deb

I'm doing pretty well actually!  All this resting has lessened my back pain and I had another round of Botox, my 4th, last week.  I think he really shot up the right places this time. BTW my forehead is smooth as a baby's butt!  Went for a 1 mile walk on Sunday and it didn't seem to fire my back up nearly as much.  Less stress is probably lessening my pain, plus just post-Botox, my anxiety level over "never knowing when the other shoe is going to drop on my head from a mile up and give me a raging brainwreck" is lessened as well. Still considering radiofrequency nerve ablation for both head/neck and sacroiliac.

My Gallery called and really misses their best selling artist--they seem to be doing well despite the recession--apparently the wealthy Floridians who have enormous summer McMansions up here still have all their money, and every artist I know has lowered their prices, so the "haves" are taking advantage of the situation and buying art.   I got nuthin to sell!  I warped my loom today, but my woven stuff can't hold a candle to what I make off my paintings.  Pain meds seem to suck my creative juices dry.

Couldn't get by at all without you people!!  Bless all of you....
