All the comments were great not much to add, many people dont' want to "face" the issues that we all share here, which I think is fine, thats' whats wonderful about this forum. I fought in combat while I was with the  Army during the Panama conflict, Somalia, Gulf war, and limited action in Bosnia. My heart and prayers are always with our service men and woman, and pray for their saftey and return home, God Bless you and your family, and I'm proud of what their fighting for.

Thank you for your service, Mark. How long were you in the Army?

My son came home last a year ago today. He was between graduating basic training, tech school before going to his PDS. I've seen him once since but he hasn't been home since. He will go to a pre-deployment training in January. Just found out it will be in Jersey ( I guess Mcguire / Ft Dix??) and that's only 2 1/2 hours away! I really hope / plan on seeing him a few times before he deploys in March.

Julie - hoping you are holding up alright and your son is as well.
