dancing!

Hi, all of you lovely people~

I went dancing tonight for the first time in about a year - and (drum roll)...I wore 1 1/2 inch heels!!!! And I didn't trip or stumble! Remarkable, since 4 months ago I could not walk heel to toe without stumbling. I did feel slightly awkward, but I'm going to attribute that to being out of practice. I LOVE to dance, so this was a special night for me, and many of my friends were at there to celebrate with me.

Life with AN is still A-OK!

:-)

Nancy

JEALOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What terrific news and what a way to celebrate... by kicking up those 1-1/2" heels! :)  Well done! :)

Way to go, Nancy!

I couldn't dance or walk in heels prior to my AN surgery.... I wonder if I can now?   ???  Maybe I better not try....

Nancy ~

Once again, you're proving that there is 'normal' life after AN treatment.  Congratulations!

Hey, Nancy, that's great!  My husband & I started dancing in Feb and now go every Friday night - I'm not in heels, however, so you've inspired me to try :D  We are still learning, but it's been great fun and good vestibular therapy!

Keep it up!

That really inspires me to keep on doing my PT.  I'm still off balance quite a bit lately. I'm so jealous you can dance in heels, I can barely even walk in them.

Congrats to you and keep it up :)

Congratulations ...

I haven't danced since High School other than silly dancing with my kids  or the Cha Cha slide and Cupid Shuffle in big groups of 100 or so since I can hide amongst them all ... as for heels , never could walk in them and guess with my new AN wobble won't try now ...

glad you had a great time ...
