Treatment or Observation. European Skull Base Congress 2009
« on: October 28, 2010, 01:43:14 pm »
I found this article very interesting.
Its a conference report, attended by 600 participants.

There are so many conflicting views for treating AN

This article maybe an indicator as to where we are heading for the future management of AN.

10x5x5mm AN
Sudden Partial hearing loss 5/28/10
Diagnosed 7/4/10
CK 7/27/10
2/21/11 Swelling 13x6x7mm
10/16/11 Hearing returned, balance improved. Feel totally back to normal most days
3/1/12 Sudden Hearing loss, steroids, hearing back.
9/16/13 Life is just like before my AN. ALL Good!

Interesting.  The more I read the more I wonder.
AN 1.4 cm x 1.7 cm x 1.0 cm
fair amount of hearing loss right ear
diagnosed 7/29/10

I'm a fun and reasonable RN, now living far from appropriate medical care. Feeling overwhelmed!
