Sue, my mother died in 1972 also, of now I know congestive heart failure at age 59.      Now could have been on all kinds of drugs to help.       Sad to remmeber.                Cheryl R
Right mid fossa 11-01-01
  left tumor found 5-03,so have NF2
  trans lab for right facial nerve tumor
  with nerve graft 3-23-06
   CSF leak revision surgery 4-07-06
   left mid fossa 4-17-08
   near deaf on left before surgery
   with hearing much improved .
    Univ of Iowa for all care

Thank you everyone for your kind words and warm thoughts. I am kind of numb right now and exhausted, but I am happy he is finally at peace.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss ... having seen several family memebrs fight losing battles against painful illness I can fully agree with your statement

Lauren, I'm so sorry to hear of your Brother's passing. I wish you and your family strength and peace during the coming days and weeks.
Diagn Apr 14 2009 with 2.5 cm lt AN. - numbness in the face and sudden onset headaches accompanied by balance issues. Consults with Drs in S Ontario, California (House) and Vancouver. Picked Dr. Akagami in BC.
Retrosigmoid July 6, 2010, 3.0cm by then. SSD left, no other significant side effects.

Yesterday we said goodbye to my brother with a loving
ceremony and a gathering of friends and family. He is at
peace now. I thank all of you for your support and comfort.
