Hi Angie,
It must be very frustrating not having more control over charting your course. I certainly hope you have a say in the team of Doctors that preform the procedure. The most critical decision I believe once you have made your surgery decision is the experience and competence of the Surgeons.
Be sure to read up on the various procedures and usual outcomes so you can make the best decision for you and your family!
