THANK YOU for the update on Clarice - i had an all-day meeting yesterday, and my personal webmail/email was all messed up, so I am just now reading the news.

Clarice & Truman - continued prayers for healing during this time.

Truman for Clarice here (hope I get this right).  Her surgery went well. Thanks for posting, Kaybo.  She is in ICU and will move to a private room this afternoon.  The docs report complete AN removal, no facial nerve involvement, and BAHA abutment "installation".  We could not have asked for a better result.  Thanks to all of her dear friends on the Forum for your love, support, prayers, etc.  It is palpable to us.

Great, thank you for the update. I am so glad that everything went well, as you already know the first couple of days are rough but the worse will be over soon. Give Clarice all our love.

GK on April 23rd 2008 for 2.9 cm AN at Toronto Western Hospital. Subsequent MRIs showed darkening initially, then growth. Retrosigmoid surgery on April 26th, 2011 with Drs. Akagami and Westerberg at Vancouver General Hospital. Graduallly lost hearing after GK and now SSD but no other issues.

Thanks for that splendidly positive update on your wife, Clarice.  

She is a much respected and admired member of these forums and her contributions have been invaluable.  I trust that will continue.   For now, though, we're delighted to learn that everything went so smoothly.  I believe that prayers were definitely answered.  I know you'll pass along our collective 'high-fives' and wishes for a speedy recovery (and quick hospital discharge) to Clarice and let her know that our thoughts remain with her.  You can tell her that you were able to post just fine, too.  :)

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.
