It was meant to be......
« on: March 17, 2011, 10:53:02 pm »
How amazing to have given birth to my new 8lb 9oz baby boy born exactly one year to the day I had a big ugly AN removed.  With all the bad news I have had in the last year, this just has to top everything and for all those newly diagnosed there really is life after an AN.

Thanks to everyone on this site who has supported me by sharing their experiences, at the time I couldn't imagine life ever being good again.

Jacqui
3.6cm AN Left side diagnosed Dec 09.
Translab surgery 16th March 2010

Babies are so precious and enjoy him as they grow so fast.     Hard to know sometime when one is tired and they are crying but so many fun times.          My grandkids have been what keep me going.           There is life after ANs even with the annoyances we can have with them!                            Cheryl R

Jacqui ~

Please accept my congratulations on the anniversary of your AN surgery and, one year later, the birth of your baby boy.   I guess it was meant to be - and I'm happy for you that it was!  :)

Jim
4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.
