MRI result time again
« on: March 23, 2011, 01:24:05 pm »
To my AN family, and fellow W and W buddies,

Just received an amazing letter from Dr. Brackmann at House, saying that my AN remains stable, and small, and advises to continue to W and W,
for at least another year!!!! So I continue into year 5. Hooray!!! This was contrary to the info from my Doc. locally! I'll go with the expert everytime!!!
Jackie
Sending Blessings to all of you in your journeys

Jackie ~

Please accept my heartfelt congratulations on this splendid news!  :)

Jim
4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

Residing UK. In 'watch & wait' since diagnosis in March 2002 with right side AN. Initially sized at 2.5cm and now self reduced to 1.3cm.
All symptoms have abated except impaired hearing on affected side which is not a problem for me.

AN Family,

I truly thank all of you for your responses. This journey, of W and W can be quite daunting at times, however, in my case after losing 60% hearing almost overnight,
and mild tinnitus, and a few other things, everything else has remained stable, as confirmed by MRI, so, life will continue down this path. Blessings to those in the same boat as me, to remain there!
To all the rest of you wonderful people may your healing continue, and your lives restored!

Yippee!!  I know the feeling well.  Pretty soon you'll be up there with Derek and myself (at 9-1/2 years W&W).

Alright this is my third W&W post of the night ...

Great news for you and great news for the W&W team.  It is alway reassuring to see successes with the W&W group.  You do never know but seeing the longevity of some of the 'oldies' brings a smile to my face.
