Facial twitches 7 years later :)
« on: April 27, 2011, 08:59:00 am »
Hi All,
Me again, lifeisgood.
My last post in Dec was about being nervous about MRI. All is well! Just wanted to report that.

My latest issue is facial twitches on the affected side. I am 7 years out. It started about a day after I filed for divorce. (last week)
So maybe it is nerves but it is irritating. It is next to my nose and pulls my lip up a bit.
I am going to see Jackie Diels ,facial retrainer in a few weeks so I will let her know.
I am not concerned about regrowth or anything. I feel like it is just waking up still.

Thoughts?
Mary

P.S The divorce is a good thing. I have 2 kids, one with Special needs but in the end it will be a posiitive part of our life.

I've got that too, it freaks me out because I had hemifacial spasm rather than an AN and it makes me afraid that the condition is returning. However, the spasms come and go with no rhyme or reason. I have read about others who experience the same thing and it does not seem out of the ordinary.
