Congratulations on reaching postie status.

Sounds like your recovery is on course.

Keep the faith!

Hi Amanda,

I just read your journal and I am so happy for you. It seems that both our surgeries went very well. I am so glad you were able to see your little ones, I won't be able to see them until Sunday - counting the days.

Marianna
GK on April 23rd 2008 for 2.9 cm AN at Toronto Western Hospital. Subsequent MRIs showed darkening initially, then growth. Retrosigmoid surgery on April 26th, 2011 with Drs. Akagami and Westerberg at Vancouver General Hospital. Graduallly lost hearing after GK and now SSD but no other issues.

Amanda, nice going on your recovery, love the part about getting into your pjs, those hospital johnnys make you feel like a patient and the pjs make you feel human again.  Keep up the good work on recovery, love reading all these positive surgery stories.
Diagnosed 6/2008
Right AN 2cmx8x9
Sub-Occipital at Mass General with Martusa and McKenna on 5/31/11
