Keep breathing!  Ken had a follow-up MRI ( about 21 months post - surgery) in April and we were nervous too. We saw Dr. Sisti the same day and he had good news - not only was there no signs of re-growth, but some of the remaining tumor surrounding the facial nerve had disappeared. Here's hoping you have good news on the 2nd.
Husband diagnosed 5/30/09 with 3.2cm right AN
Surgery at  Columbia Presbyterian 8/4/09
Platinum eye weight implant - 8/17/09
17 days in hospital and rehab
SSD, facial weakness, some tinnitus, headaches , balance and eye problems

I just had my 3-year a couple of months ago (also with the wonderful Dr. Roland) and I was like a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs for about a month leading up to it.  I think it just comes with the territory.  I would think that the jitters would be worse for you since you've already gone through a regrowth and second surgery.  If it is any help, I find that chocolate works wonders ...

Best of luck.

I hope you have good news. It is such a long wait. I am in the "waiting period" now so I do understand. I do not get an mri until October.

Good Luck and let us know how it goes!

Hi,

W&W can be hard, my next MRI is also this October.  It has been a little over 3 years now since my dx, so I guess I count my blessings that I can still live with this AN and have not yet had to seek treatment.

hang in there
