Happy ANiversary, Jan!
Funny how we call it happy, when it was not a happy experience. However our lives are richer by the experience and the friends we've made along the way! And you are doing a superb job helping others on the forum :)

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

Happy 4th Jan.....are you still doing the annual "tube of gloom" visit?

Patrick

Yes, I'm still entering the tube of gloom on a regular basis.  Last time was mid-April and results were clean  ;D

I think my doc recommends one more annual MRI, then if there are no signs of regrowth he goes with every 2-3 years.  So, I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Thanks for the nice sentiments, all (even if one was corny  ;) )

It's been a pretty happy day - even sent my doc an email telling him again what an outstanding job he, the neurosurgeon, the intern, and the anesthesiologist did.  Can't thank those 4 guys enough.

Best,

Jan
