hi does anyone know what causes facial tightness x
over 4.5cm AN removed dec 06

According to Jackie Diels, as the nerves start transmitting again the signals are kind of messed up. The signals that are supposed to suppress movement don't work, causing the muscles to tighten up instead of relax. (That's my very lay person's understanding of her explanation anyway.)

She gave me lots of stretching exercises to do, and explained it like stretching a rubber band. The more I stretch it slowly, the less it will retract over time.
