translab surgery of 2.6cm neuroma, right side, by Dr. Welling at Ohio State, 6-18-10.  BAHA base placed on same day.  Facial paralysis. Gold weight 7-14-10.

I agree with all of the above! There are great lessons in your speech. It was helpful to me... some of it hit home - neither my husband or myself did anything with our degree as far as what we studied specifically, but the help it was in the 'real world' was invaluable.

Thanks again for all the kind words! I sent it to my surgeons and they were likewise kind.

I hope everyone's 2012 is starting off as well as mine.

Hi Tod - I just go to reading your speech.  It was wonderful!  I have read bits and pieces of your story here on the message board but I had not know the entire incredible story.  Thanks to you and many others on this board I had the courage to have surgery and know that no matter what the outcome I could get through it.  Many thanks!!  I am glad to hear your recent radiation treatment is going well.  Best wishes.
