Getting nervous-have a decision to make soon!
« on: April 01, 2012, 09:12:11 pm »
Guys,

Maybe I'm just nervous about Wednesday, April 4th? I have an appointment with Dr. Konzuilka. It is the decision day,  as it draws nearer I am getting more and more antsy, I have a feeling I'm going to have difficulty getting some sleep! Is it alright to ask for prayers?

Thanks Suuu,

I knew I could count on you, why does this have to be so hard? Why can't I just suck it up! I feel so emotionally weak! I could use some intense prayer to get me over a huge hurdle right now!

Praying for you and will be thinking of you.  Good luck in your decision making process, I find that a list of pros and cons really does help.  In the end, you will feel much better once you actually have made you decision.

Peace...

Prayers going out to/for you.
I also will have to make a decision sooner than later.  Meeting with radiation dr and surgeon later this month.  This is hardest thing I have ever had to make a decision on.
1.4 cm diagnosed 01/12
significant hearing loss rt side
total balance loss rt side - AN side -
left side already compensated (who knew)
Radiation completed May 2012 - all systems are GO -- so happy I chose radiation near home.

Mike ~

You're facing a tough decision, the results of which could affect your future quality of life so it's natural to be apprehensive.  However, at some point you have to decide to surmount your fears and actually make the tough choice.  Of course, you know that.

In my opinion, asking for prayer on your behalf is a healthy thing to do.  Rest assured that you'll be in my prayers - and those of many others.

Life is not the way it's supposed to be. It's the way it is.  The way we cope with it is what makes the difference.

Thanks Everybody,

It extemely comforting to be thought of as a part of something bigger than yourself almost as if you were my extended family aunts, uncles and distant cousins all sharing one common bond.

Dreaded though it is!

I suppose we all go through this!

I just know I'm supposed to learn from this or teach from it!

Just wish it could be easier, now off to meditate on it and try to sleep!
