Saliva problems due to paralysed face
« on: August 06, 2006, 02:25:44 pm »
Most off the time my month(or right side on my mouth) gets really dry from lack of saliva but sometimes i get too much saliva and this mainly happens at night. Cause of this i have to swallow alot in the day but swallowing alot don't happen when you are sound asleep. So you can imagine my pillow can get wet. Does anyone else have this?
NF2 diagnosed in October 2002.
5 operations since Jan 2004.One was an emergancy tumor removal.

Yes, I do too.  It's so nice to wake up so slimy!  LOL NOT!  Mine is intermittent though.  I've been told it's the nerves just going nuts.  I'm hoping it means they are still trying to wake up!  I'm so sick of a numb face I could scream!
