Positive MRI Result @ 1 Year Post Op

Hello AN Forum Friends,

I am just elated to share the results of my first MRI since translab. surgery on Sept. 2, 2011 at the HEI to remove a 3+CM A.N. No regrowth, all is clear. Woo Hoo. I had to stop for ice cream and chocolate to celebrate. :D

Alright!  Congratulations on your MRI report.  I bet the ice cream and chocolate were delicious!  :)

4.5 cm AN diagnosed 5/06.  Retrosigmoid surgery 6/06.  Follow-up FSR completed 10/06.  Tumor shrinkage & necrosis noted on last MRI.  Life is good.

Hmmm.  Ice cream and chocolate.  Sounds like my kind of celebration.

Great news on your MRI.  Definitely a wonderful reason to treat yourself!

Kathy, so glad to hear about your positive results from your MRI.  Hard to believe it's been 1 year since surgery already.  Hope your recovery continues to go well!

MRI 12/2010 Official diagnosis 1/3/2011 RT AN 7x6x4mm's
MRI 6/17/2011 no change still 7X6X4
MRI 7/20/2012 growth spurt to 14mm
Aug 8th consult and decided on Proton Therapy
Proton Therapy @ Hampton Proton Institute,       done on 11/20/12
