MRI Tomorrow - Any Advice?
« on: February 26, 2013, 11:48:06 am »
I am looking for any advice regarding the MRI with contrast I have schedules for tomorrow. Will it cause a headache (beyond my normal constant headaches)? Should I have planned for someone to pick me up?
They want to rule out a possible AN. However, at this point I would rather they find something and have answers than more questions and stupid guesses and explanations. Like I only smile on one side because I probably sleep on that side and have deadened the nerves/muscles on that side.

Hello Justininee!

I was in wait and watch for 4 years before just having my surgery 3 months ago.  I have had my share of MRI's.  I have never had a problem at all.  I always went by myself.  I could not tell any difference at all.  Just a stick in the arm :-)  I have heard of people being allergic to the dye but I think that is very rare.  Hope things go well for you!
