Hello all that used to know me, not sure if you hang on these forums anymore since I have not for over 2-3 yrs.
Once in a while I browse google to see if anything new has been developed, which leads me to question if anyone has used the bonebridge.
http://vimeo.com/43028724http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wfc3ymniURIDifference with BAHA?
Is it for people whose Vestibular nerve has been completely destroyed by an AN?
does it give direction.
Swimming? I am a triathlete.
Insurance covered? healthcare change? would it be under preexisting conditions?
I have learned to live with mono/and having head shadow and not sure if I want to be able to hear on my headshadow side unless it gives me direction, since I do not want to be overwhelmed with NOISE. Headshadow is also convenient for a nagging wife.
Sorry if I offend anyone.
I now work in an ER environment and more that once Docs have thought I ignore them. Anyone with SSD knows what I am talking about. I just purchased a button I am placing on my left shoulder that has the international deaf symbol.
bonebridge would help in these circumstances, but then return to the calm silence after..
