Sharp Ear Pain
« on: August 08, 2013, 05:25:37 pm »
 :) Hi Again,

I was just wondering if other AN patients had sharp pains in the AN ear.
I have a very small cochlear schwanomma at the basliar turn of my cochlea. I am going in Aug 27th for vestibular testing but wanted to know what others have experienced as far as pain is concerned.  I work full time and truly do not want to take anything stronger than motrin. The pain seems to be worse after stressful days but seems to be stronger and more frequent.

Thanks so much,
Patty
Recently Diagnosed with very small tumor.

Hi, just noticed your post. Yes, sharp pains around the ear are interminable before and after treatment, in mine and many cases. They seem to come and go for no reason sometimes with weeks in between. Hope that helps,

Alison.

Hi, re post above should read intermittent not interminable! Whoops, maybe a freudian slip.
