Kathy.    I am in central Iowa and have been known to make a trip or 2 to the Mega Mall.     I heard you mention Lakeville once and I 35 goes thru there I am thinking.                 I have an AN friend in Des Moines who might be game also.          Actually I have come across a few Iowa ANers but some are from other parts of the state.

Hello Cheryl R:

I live 2 miles from I 35 in beautiful downtown Lakeville.  Denise is 40 miles NW of me.  Pattyprince is 40 miles NE.  I would very much like to meet and I am sure they would too - If you are not comming up shopping, maybe we could do a half way thing???  Kathy

WOW Whatta great lookin' buncha scallywags and scally wenches ye be! And well attired ta boot what with all the purty pink Uniforms and all!

In case alla yer tried ter call- I was in Home Depot with the daughter-in-law and Thing 1 and Thing 2 and I hadda lend her my phone fer a while to discuss prices with her husband--they're remodelin a fixer upper (way upper) and are stressfully tryin ter pick out alla new kitchen stuff as they have a deadline for a bank appraisal.  We she managed to drop it on the floor and smash it into lil pieces (I bin droppin it fer a year and it was it's LAST STRAW) while I was off in the dunny with Thing 1 havin' a tinkle (him not me) Poor thing was in tears cuz she knew I was awaiting your call.

So I may have missed talking wiv yer, unless yer dint try to call and thats OK cuz we sure had a nice chat on Saturday night.

Hope you had a great time wiv each other!

Love and messy smoochies to alla yer!

Kathy, How far are you from Owatonna?   Would Cabelas complex have a possible meeting place?   I know my daughter was saying they have a hotel there with a waterpark but wonder what the eating places are.              Guess it has been almost a year since was up that way.       Can't say when would get the chance to do a shopping trip but almost could do just a day trip if was at Owatonna or there abouts.          I work every 3rd weekend so always have to work around that.

Bill and I had a wonderful time and it was worth the 3 hour drive!!  I was soooo proud of the Pacific NW for putting on such a purty show for Laz.  I think the name of that ship was the Norwegian Star, Norwegian Cruise Lines.  Bill and I were checking that out, dontcha know.

7-Day Alaska Glacier Bay, Seattle round-trip

It was really wonderful to meet everyone.  I'll have to think on an epic poem to celebrate the event.  Stay tuned.

Thanks to everyone, again, for the special presents.  Got socks now!!  And Australian chocolate.  And uniform and accesory.  Wow, who knew getting a stupid AN wouldl lead to such rewards and riches.  Really, this is pretty special.  Thank you.   :)

I have a friend who lives in Owatonna.  I know there are two hotels next to Cabela's.  Will do some checking around and talk to Denise.  I work Saturday's but can do almost any Sunday.

Wow, great pictures! I hope you had fun!  What a wonderful thing you all did!  Wish we had one in the Southwest.  Not sure how many folks are around here?

It is fun to see pictures of you and put names and faces together!
