Hi.  I’m Wayne.  I was diagnosed with a 1.5 cm left side AN last December, and the June follow-up MRI showed the thing still there and growing.  I want to thank all the participants on the forum for providing so much information.  I haven’t had anything to say, but I have read hundreds of your postings to find answers to my questions.

I’ve decided that surgery is my best option, and will have it done on September 20. I’ll let you know how things turn out.

Thanks again for supplying so much information to assist in understanding AN, and all the good and bad things that can result.

In response to Captain Deb's question, Dr. Karl Horn will be doing my surgery at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque.  Dr. Horn has done approximately 200 AN's and trained at HEI before he moved to New Mexico.

Many thanks for the kind wishes.  I'll let you know how things progress after the surgery.
