ok, so i had this nasal surgery. i have to say i wasn't sure if it was going to work or not. it took about 3 weeks for everything to start clearing up. i am not going to say that it was a pleasant surgery, but it worked!! i can breath thru my nose normally again. anyone having problems breathing thru their nose should at least look into it. i am not sure what the procedure is actually called (nasal valve), however, they somehow stitch it so your nostril stays open. if you want more details of the surgery, just let me know. for those that are curious and want to look into it, my doctor is Ryan Hefflefinger. Dr. Heffelfinger is the Director of both the Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and of Head and Neck Microvascular Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. he understands the problems an AN patient goes thru post op. look it up!!
