Finally - MRI tomorrow
« on: July 09, 2015, 12:06:32 pm »
MRI tomorrow evening. Just a mere 10 months after going to GP with left sided tinnitus, headaches, slight hearing loss and periods of dizziness.

It'll be at least another few weeks before I hear the results (don't get copies or see scan myself).

When my tinnitus first started, I never thought I'd say I hope I'm one of those ones who never finds out what causes their tinnitus. But knowing what the alternative is, I'll settle for just the tinnitus.

Thanks. I felt a lot more claustrophobic than I was anticipating.

Awkward incident at the end though :

I coincidently have to have an MRI due to gallstones at end.of month. After brain MRI was done, I was asking the radiographer about how I would be positioned with it as I found this one quite tight. She was explaining how I could go in feet first and then proceeded to mis speak as follows 'so wouldn't be completely in the tumour,  I mean tunnel'.

:o :o

I really hope this was just a simple mistake and not a preoccupied thought on my just taken MRI.

Roll on the next few weeks.
