NYT article "Literal Balance, Life Balance"
« on: September 21, 2015, 05:09:01 pm »
This Opionator article, in the Sunday Review section of the Sunday NY Times for Sept. 20  (and the days before, I think) is by a woman dealing with an AN diagnosis. It's noteworthy (even if not totally medically accurate) for the grace with which the author is living her current life, seeing the positive side to having to slow down.
AN diagnosed in 2012.  13mm transversely by 10mm cranial caudally by 13 mm anteroposteriorly 2014. At 70 thought maybe it would go away..or I would. But here we are.

I'd like to read it.  What's best way to get a copy?
Dx 2.6 cm Nov 2012, 35% hearing loss.  Grew to 3.5 cm Oct 2013.  Pre-op total hearing loss, left side tongue numb.  Translab Nov 2013 House Clinic.  Post-op no permanent facial or other issues.  Tongue much improved.  Great result!!
