Did the Newsletter come out yet?
« on: March 02, 2016, 05:32:22 pm »
Am I missing the March newsletter somewhere? I was eager to read an article about some research being done showing that these tumors release toxins. Thanks for directing me if I missed it!

Hi there .....

It is not available yet online in the members section on anausa.org.  I have asked our executive director to reply to this as to when to expect it.

Thanks for your interest in this topic.

Thank you so, so much. I am so eager to read this & share with my doctors.

I have a small VS & tinnitus... but sway & stumble balance problems are what brought me to my neurologist. I was told a small VS would not cause this ... but I'm convinced it does. I'm getting vestibular therapy to help with this balance issue. My vestibulo-ocular reflex is abnormal. This came on 6-7 months ago & the tumor was discovered.  I feel this must be due to the small VS causing irritation regardless of it's size. So very interested in what this says.

Thank you so much again.

Yes, balance issues, other than vertigo, are a common symptom of acoustic neuroma. Take a look at our 2014 Patient Survey report- on the home page of our website: www.anausa.org. This would be helpful for your physician as well.
